Grading
The pattern has now been digitized and imported into software that will allow us to apply grading. The grading rules help us develop a range of different sizes. Example: The base pattern is small. The base is used to create other sizes such as extra small, medium, large, and more.
“The fewer sizes there are in the size range, the better the fit will be in the extreme sizes when using the simplified grading system. The use of more than one sample size pattern for a size range of six or more sizes is recommended.”
